California is gonna burn, hope those props don't pass!!

Sorry but this going to be a short posting today. I need to get going to bed. I just wanted to let everyone out there, like there's even anyone reading this, that all props on this special election coming up, I'm voting no across the board. Some props move money around right now from programs into the general fund, bad news. Others keep taxes high in two years and dumps it off into the state slush fund aka. the general fund. This abortion of California politics needs to end. We as Conservatives need to stand up to this liberal stronghold and bring it back into submission. This whole embarrassment makes me want to move to Wyoming or Montana where Republicans can live free like the cattle that roams their ranges. I can't think with my brain so cloudy with sleep. Maybe I will continue this tomorrow. GOD BLESS AMERICA, we all know She needs it.

Wow talk about randomness

Well I want to apologize for last nights post. There was so much going on around me that I couldn't keep my brain on track. I just wanted to say that people are talking about the Republican party is killing itself. I say nay! The future of this great nation is going to be on the backs of young conservatives that are willing to stand up for morals. Since President Obama has been in office more and more states have voted through gay marriage. This is unacceptable. God talks specifically about homosexuality in the bible, and has specific punishment. Don't think of this as me saying that I hate all gays. My brother in law is gay. I love him to death, I don't support his life style. Likewise if he was to ever get married my wife and I would not attend, even though it is her brother. You may ask why, well I will tell you why. As an attendee of a wedding you are there, before God saying that you support this marriage. That right there is enough for me. I don't want to be held responsible for that sin when I am judged by God. I love the sinner, but not the sin itself.

I would not shed a single tear if the Republican party disbanded. I am a Conservative first, then a Republican. So many Republicans are far to moderate. Take Arlen Spector for instance, the man was so far left that he actually switched parties. I say good for him. Stop weighing down my party because you can't figure out which one you want to be in. Why can't we as a party get back to our roots and just turn a deaf ear to all those liberals that think they run this country.

American was built on a premise of Christianity. Our founding fathers knew how bad it was being under a governmental religion, hence the Eleventh Amendment. This amendment is basically where all the Separation of Church and State issues start and end. I am no lawyer but I can tell what this amendment says. This nation will not have a country run religion. Plain and simple. On the other side of the coin this does not include teaching children about God in classrooms and praying in school. I was sitting around wondering what this world would be like with no religion. I am not just talking about Christianity, I am talking about all religion. Organized religion caused a lot of bloodshed in the 16th and 17th centuries. The killer of 18th, 19th and 20th centuries have been human ideas. Communism and fascism leading the way. Under these two ideals there have been more deaths than all of the Crusades put together. No religion... it's a scary thought. Religion gives people hope, structure, and peace. Without this we would have anarchy. Some people love this idea. Personally I love having Jesus in my life. When I'm having an extremely taxing day I can take it to Him, I know other religions have different variations of this idea but it's a great stress reliever. There would be more killings in the street, drugs would be running free in the streets. You may say, but this already going on. I hate to tell you but this country has strayed away from God a long time ago. Since when do you put men ahead of your God? What right do you have? Has any man except for Jesus, who was all man and all God, died for you? They say that where there is a huge atheist push, that is where God is prevalent. This made perfect sense as soon as I heard it because the devil will always try and deceive man from Gods truth.

Well it's time to get going. That cute girl is ready for me to to drive her around town. So until next time, GOD BLESS AMERICA, because we all know she needs it.

Governor candidates?!?!?

Is it just me or are there only two candidates for California's Governor? Meg Whitman is the solid Conservative vote. Granted she is tied in pretty good with Mitt Romney, but she is also a great businesswoman. She is well traveled and knows how to deal with people and could be in line for a cabinet position in the future. I don't know exactly where Meg stands on medical reform and cutting state fat out of the budget. We need a Governor that can stand firm in the face of the state legislature that is willing to choke it's constituates with taxes, taxes and more taxes. I was inspired today listening to Mike Gallager this morning with his co-host Johnathan Krohn. This young man is only 14 years old, and is the new voice of the Conservative Movement. This young man can rile up the inner Reagan in every conservative, wanting to fry some unneeded Washington Tax Fat.

Sorry, but my brain is all over the board right now. Gonna try and get that little girl in my wifes arms to sleep. Dreaming of a better, less governmental country. GOD BLESS AMERICA, because she needs it.

Redlands Disappoints.. Again

Well I come to you with a heavy heart to say that these raves at Pharaohs are going to continue. There is one slated for tonight, April 18th, to celebrate 4/20. Most think of this as a celebration of the drug movement. 420 used to be the police call number for a drug related incident. I don't know when it happened but apparently 4:20 am/pm is the official time to smoke weed, marijuana for those that don't know. So following suit 4/20 is the day that is slated for smokers to rip there brains until they can't see straight anymore. The promoters of this rave, for some reason feel the need to throw one of there raves celebrating this. The stupid thing is 4/20 is for weed smokers, and there is a small amount of smoking done at raves. The majority or the drugs done at raves are of the hallucination type. Acid, LSD, X, Special K and Shrooms. All of these are thoroughly enjoyed at raves. You don't have to smoke anything, all you need is an open mouth. You can also conceal these a lot easier than say an 1/8th of weed. X and Special K to the untrained eye look like Altoids, and anyone who lived through the 70s knows LSD comes in all kinds of forms. The reason these types of drugs are so popular at these kind of events is for one reason. Image enhancement. When your rolling on a combination of X, shrooms and possibly acid and you walk into a rave its like paradise. You can feel the music pumping through you, the lights and the environment feel like they are dancing around you. Your skin actually becomes more sensitive, While your out dancing having a good time, rubbing up against others your brian is getting stimulated even more. Do you think weed would do this to you. No, it doesn't.

I personally know. I've sampled everything from homegrown kush that was almost florescent to pharmacutical grade marijuana. None of these had any hallucinationistic effects on me. Granted it wasn't laced with anything, PCP or Angeldust. The main point I'm trying to say is that there are so many worse things going on at raves than a few teenagers smoking weed in their car before a rave. There are young girls being exploited by much older men that have access to drugs. Whos watching out for those girls. The girls that take something from a guy they think is cute, and next thing they know they wake up in a parking lot of Home Depot in Banning. Those poor girls hhave no idea what was done to them over those 2 days. You have to prepare for the worst and hope all of the STD tests come out negitive.

The thing that disguists me about this whole situation is that the raves are still being promoted as "All Ages" but they swear that thhey are going to be carding at the door for 18 and over. Basically the only thing they are worried about is someone being able to pay the entrance fee, thats all they want, the $45 bucks in their hand. I wish there was a single person on the Redlands Counsel that had a backbone, and would shut down the conditional permit that they are working under. They have to stand up for our youth, it makes me sad that they are only about their little pet projects, and progressing their agendas. They care nothing of the taxpayers in this city and their children. What would happen if one of there daughters were one of the girls missing for 2 days and found in Banning not knowing what happened. The raves would be shut down in an instant. But since it wasn't their daughter they care nothing about it. I have been emailing the counsel once a week, and still no answer. I will keep pressing on. Until then, GOD BLESS AMERICA, we all know she needs it.

New news

Well for all that have not been keeping up with what's going on at Pharaoh's, it's a giant pissing match. One guy says he owns it, and will not allow the Raves. While another man says he has the legal power to keep having the Raves. Since the dreaded rave for Valentine's Day, there has been one rave every two Saturdays. So far there have 3 more raves. Three more opportunities for young women to be preyed upon by much older men wielding drugs and alcohol. I have written four emails to this great cities City Council, with no response. The Sun and The Redlands Daily Facts have put this issue on the back burner, but I feel that it would be irresponsible to let it be put there.

Another great Redlands faux paz is the lack of recycling bins for apartment homes. If the citizens of Redlands are responsible to recycle their household items shouldn't people living in apartments, condos and townhomes also do their part? If you look at an average home on a full acre lot, I know I wish I owned a full acre also, there are maybe five people living in said house. Now take a full acre or apartment homes. You can fit close to twenty units in that same space. Now those twenty units are most likely going to be one person living in them, even if they did my theory would still apply. Say each unit lived three people. Three people per unit at twenty units is sixty poeple. Sixty people living in a space where five were living before. Fifty-five more people creating waste. Now imagine how much recycling these extra fifty-five make. Now the city makes a huge hulla-balloo about homes and their recycling habits. They give you larger recycling bins and smaller trash bins to set out for pick up. They care about how those five people seperate their trash. On the other hand does the city care about those fifty-five extra people? Do they care that they are filling the landfills with items that can be recycled and sold for the city to make a profit? For those of you know don't know what happens to all that trash in your recycling bin after it leaves your house, let me enlighten you. The city takes your recycling to a facility where they serperate paper, plastic, glass and other items. The items are they compacted, smashed and often melted down and sold to China. China is where most of our cardboard, recycled bags, and other recycled items come from. Basically we sell them compacted paper and they sell an American company cardboard. Households become part of this great worldwide economy, and help ease this dyinng, choking planet. Wow, not a bad rant if I saw so myself ha ha. Needless to say many, many emails will be sent to local, state and federal represntatives on my behalf to see if there is anything that can be done about this.

On a lighter note, my wife is super close to giving birth to our little baby girl. In three weeks, if she makes it that long, we'll be getting one of those 3D ultra-sounds. Hopefully she isn't too squashed in there. Well tomorrow's is already Thursday, which means I get to go on my 12 mile bike ride to meet my wife at choir practice. Good night and God Bless America.

My Condolences.

Yesterday San Bernardino lost one of her great and heroic fire Captains. Captain Craig Nece passed yesterday after suffering from a horrible off road vehicle accident in the Arizona desert. He will be severely missed. Not only was this man a career man in San Bernardino, but also I don't think you can find a single person that could say something bad about him. I'm sure is engine company could tell you a lot more about this man, and I know I'm not doing him any justice. He always greeted me with a smile and a good strong hand shake. He like to play around like any firefighter, sometimes more than others. The one thing that I wonder about when people die is always the same, did they know Jesus? I know this age has made a mockery of Jesus and what He did for us. But that doesn't dilute what will happen after you die. I feel sad that I did not know Captain Nece good enough to share with him what Jesus has done in my life, and I hope that I do get to see him again when this life passes from me.

On a lighter note there really hasn't been much going on in Redlands since they've handed down pay cuts and furloughs to city workers. Redlands has again moved into the news article background again. Even the city website and the Redlands Daily Facts has been kinda boring. The one good thing I found, yes there is still some good news out there, is that Redlands is going to be starting to have a Farmer's Market on saturday mornings. The starting date hasn't been set yet and the site is kinda wierd, hopefully they change that, but I can't wait to see what is in store. Anyway I will keep digging through my stacks of newspapers and websites to bring up some new and fresh stuff cuz I'm tired of getting the minute by minute of what the Obama administration is doing, and I'm sure you are too. I may be posting again later, until then have a great day.

Short Post

Well this is a pretty short post. Been trying to keep up on the Redlands public safety issues. I lived in the city, and I like to make sure my family is going to be safe. Furlough days is the fastest way for cities to cut payroll. We in S.B. are taking a 10% pay cut using furlough days. One full 8 hour day per pay period. I know that this is going to put stress on a lot of people, but it's better than not having a job at all.

Like I said this is going to be a short post. Tomorrow after I dig through my news article stacks and will definitely have more to talk about.

Opening Thoughts

Most people want to start their blog off on a good, happy note. I could do that. But the would not be fair. I live in a city where it allows a rave that is promoted to attendees 13 and up. This singularly disgusts me. I know for a fact that the city council had to sign off on this. I personally do not know anyone on the council. But, they are going to know my name and my email address. When I read this article I didn't know who to get mad at first. The city for letting this go on, or the parents of these two girls for not checking it out for themselves. The city says that they are going to bare underage children from getting into these parties. I honestly don't see any way to guarantee that other than not allowing these raves in our city.

Ok now that's off my chest, I guess I should tell you a little about myself. I'm a 27 year old man born and raised in the Inland Empire. I am married to a wonderful woman that has put up with me for almost 8 years, and we have a little girl on the way. I am a mechanic for a local sity fire department, I love my job. I attend and volunteer at the greatest church ever, The Rock Church and World Outreach Center.

So, this blog is mostly my way of venting. I will be writing about local issues, politcal and not so political. And on especially good days, just a really long venting rant! if you have anything you would like to add please let me know.
